Keysight Agile Signal Generator Service Guide 33
Troubleshooting
The Green Front Panel Power Switch LED or Yellow Standby LED is
Not Working
The power switch and standby LEDs are controlled by the +5V_STBY standby
line. The +5V_STBY standby line is supplied by the A2 Power Supply and is
routed through the A4 Mother Board, A5 Infrastructure Board and to the front
panel.
With the signal generator plugged in and the power turned off, the yellow
standby LED should be on. When the signal generator is turned on, the yellow
standby LED should turn off and the green front panel power switch LED
should turn on. If either of these LED is not functioning as expected, complete
the following procedure to correct the problem.
1. Remove the outer and inner instrument covers. Refer to Chapter 3,
“Assembly Replacement.” for instructions on removing the instrument
covers.
2. If the front panel yellow standby LED is off, go to “Check Line Module and
Cable”.
3. If the front panel green power switch LED is off, go to "A2 Power Supply
Troubleshooting.", "A5 Infrastructure Board Troubleshooting.", "A6 CPU
Carrier and A7 CPU Assembly Troubleshooting.", "Check A8 Solid State
Drive.", and Front Panel Interface ribbon cable.
