Setting Power Meter Resolution
You can choose from four levels of Power Meter resolution.
Higher resolutions provide more accuracy but slow the
measurement speed.
1 Press > Preset. (With Preset Type of Factory)
2 Press , rotate the knob or press the arrow hardkey to
highlight Power Meter, then press [ENTER] to turn on the
power meter.
3 Press {Meas Disp} > {Resolution}. Select 1,2,3 or 4. The four
options represent different resolution as follow:
• [1] = 1
• [2] = 0.1
• [3] = 0.01
• [4] = 0.001
Setting the Power Meter.s Top and Bottom End-Points
Setting the end points (Disk Range) close to expected
measurement value changes the sensitivity of the Power
Meter scale resolution. This is an advantage in viewing small
changes in power. However, this will not affect the overall
range of the sensor.
1 Press > Preset. (With Preset Type of Factory)
2 Press , rotate the knob or press the arrow hardkey to
highlight Power Meter, then press [ENTER] to turn on the
power meter.
3 Press {Meas Disp} > {Dis Range} to access the end- points menu.
4 Press {Top} and enter the maximum scale value using the
numeric keypad. Then press {dBm} to complete the setup.
5 Press {Bottom} and enter the minimum scale value desired
using the numeric keypad. Then press {dBm} to complete the
setup.
