13. Slowly open the supply
valve and allow the storage
tank to fill. This will take
approximately four minutes.
14. Close storage tank valve
15. Slowly crack open faucet
WARNING:
Do not open faucet all
the way. Air, water and
chemical solution will
spray out forcefully. Be
prepared to control the
anti-spray line.
16. Open jack screw completely
(counterclockwise), wait one
minute then close jack
screw completely (clockwise)
17. Close the supply valve.
Leave faucet open and
allow system to
depressurize.
18. Disconnect the tubing from
the supply valve and shake
out any excess water. Add
5 mL of solution in the end
of the tube, then re-attach
to the supply valve.
19. Add 15 mL of solution to
the center of the RO
cartridge and install in the
RO position
20. Add 10 mL of solution to
the inlet of a dry virus
cartridge and install in
Auxiliary position. Add
silicone to
O-rings.
21. Remove the white, star-
shaped insert from the
postfilter and add 25 mL of
solution to the center of
the cartridge. Replace the
insert and install cartridge
in the postfilter position.
Note: You may hear a buzzing
sound from the unit. This is normal
for start-up. Check for leaks.
Note: Do not
over tighten.
