22. Remove cartridge plug.
23. Pour one package of cleaning agent into dry cartridge plug –
install plug into cartridge prefilter position.
WARNING: Handle plug with care when
removing. May contain chemical solution.
Cleaning Agent: chlorine dioxide tablet
(crush tablet while still in packet) or granules
prefilter position
24. Install RO.
25. Slowly open feed valve.
26. Wait 2 minutes.
27. Turn jack screw completely.
28. Open faucet.
29. Wait for flow to drop off.
(counterclockwise)
WARNING:
Watch for spray.
Close feed and allow system to depressurize.
Leave faucet open
30. Remove prefilter, postfilter
and auxiliary cartridge
plugs (as necessary).
32. Slowly open feed.
33. Wait for steady permeate
flow at the faucet, then
close the faucet. Remove
anti-spray line.
31. Install all remaining
cartridges.(Auxiliary
cartridges must already be
prepped according to their
installation instructions.)
34. Inform customer to
discard first two tanks
of water.
