12. Wait 4 minutes
13. Close feed.
14. Close tank valve
Note: You may hear a
buzzing sound from the unit.
This is normal for
start-up.
15. Slowly open faucet to
depressurize the system.
16. Leave faucet open.
17. Remove cartridge plug.
WARNING: Do not
open faucet all the
way. Air, water
and chemical
solution will spray
out forcefully. Be
prepared to control
the anti-spray line.
WARNING: Handle plug with care when
removing. May contain chemical solution.
18. Pour one package of cleaning agent into dry cartridge plug
– install plug into cartridge prefilter position.
19. Install RO.
Cleaning Agent: chlorine dioxide tablet
(crush tablet while still in packet) or
granules
prefilter position
20. Remove ⅜” plug from yellow port on manifold and insert ⅜”
tube into same port. Place other end into a 5 gallon bucket.
21. Slowly open feed valve.
Remove ⅜” plug from yellow port
