2 Preparing Your Radio for Use
Charging battery process is as follows:
Plug the adapter into the suitable AC socket, and connect the
adapter with the charger base. Then the Green LED lights on.
Place the battery or the radio with battery into the charger, then
Red LED lights on and starts charging the battery. When
completed, the Green LED will light. The charging period of empty
battery is less than 5 hours.
Note:
z For best performance, please charge the new battery at least for 14 to 16 hours before initial
use.
z KB-77B Li-on battery of Kirisun is applicable to this radio.
z Do not recharge the battery if it is not in low battery status; otherwise, it will affect the battery’s
life and performance.
2.1 Installing the Battery
Match the battery pack with the two slots on the back of the radio, and
push the battery forward along the slots until a click is heard.
