5) The desired ID/alias displays on the LCD, indicating that the remote monitor command is
sending out, and the Red LED lights on.
6) Wait for the acknowledgement.
7) If the successful ACK is received, the LCD displays "Monitor Successful". Otherwise it will
display "Monitor Failed".
8) If the "Remote Monitor" command is successful, the radio starts receiving audio from the
desired radio for the programmed duration of CPS.
Note
z During the radio waiting for the acknowledgement period after the "Remote Monitor" command
being sent out, the radio can terminate the command and exit "Remote Monitor" mode by
pressing
key.
z Or if the retry times of sending "Remote Monitor" command reach its maximum times, the radio
will automatically exit this mode and displays "Remote Monitor Failed".
9.6 Scan
Scan feature allows you to receive voice / data from different channels. The radio supports up to 128
scan list, each having 16 channels at its maximum. The radio supports analog, digital, or mixed
analog/digital mode scanning. You can have different scan lists for different channels.
You can add, delete channels in the scan list, or set the priority channels by editing the scan list.
