REMOVING THE THERMOSTAT, THERMAL FUSE, AND HEATER
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
WARNING
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher.
3. Access and remove the coarse cup and
filter flow plate (see “Removing The
Coarse Cup, Wash Arm, And Filter Flow
Plate,” page 4-4).
4. Remove the tub and bottom cover (see
pages 4-6 & 4-7).
5. To remove the thermostat and thermal
fuse:
a) Remove the three retainer screws from
the thermostat bracket to remove the
thermal fuse and thermostat.

b) Remove the spring retainer.

c) Lift the thermostat and thermal fuse
out of the holder, and disconnect the
wire connectors from the terminals.
NOTE: There are O-rings on the ther-
mostat and thermal fuse.

ciever and has an extra spring pressure
clip.
