Changing Drive Belt
Place sawframe at correct level to allow access all
four mounting bolts (only 3 visible at right)
Note that the two front bolts go through an additional
narrow plate in front. This plate may be stuck to the
larger plate beneath (because of the paint). You must
be sure to loosen this top plate from the larger motor
mount plate, because the larger plate is slotted to
allow proper belt tension adjustment.
Disconnect power from the machine.
Note: Electrical box is attached to plate and does not
need to be removed.
Lift motor, remove old belt.
Place new belt over pulley. The two posts will hold it
in place.
Replace motor, and slide plate to rear.
Replace and tighten four bolts.
