8.2. Adjusting and Setting
8.2.1. Operation
Before you turn on the system, make sure that there are no persons in
the danger zone of the equipment.
F Set up compressor according to Chapter 6.2
F Carry out the instructions as described in Chapter 7.2
F Connect the Spark Plug and add gasoline (for gas motor version)
F Note the speed of the gas motor is set by Komptec and is not adjustable
Pay attention to the condition of the cylinders, pressure vessels and valves!
- Cylinders and pressure vessels which have defects, which can endanger
third parties may be endangered, shall not be filled.
- Only approved and current air receivers and air tanks (DOT / TÜV etc.)
should be filled.
- Only compressed air containers and bottles that are approved for the in-
tended operating pressure (filling pressure) may be filled.
- Only compressed air containers and bottles that have a fill port / valve
may be filled
8.2.1.1. Starting the Motor
Inspect the intermediate and condensate drains and confirm they are open
prior to turning on the motor
1. Switch to "I" or "ON"
2. Close condensate drain

Note: Under certain conditions you should warm up the compressor and clear residual con-
densate by operating the compressor for 5 minutes with intermediate and condensate drain
plugs and the fill port in their open condition:

After extended non-usage
After being moved
