Non-ammablematerialisused.Incaseofre,movethebatteryawayfromtherearea
ifyoucandoitwithoutcompromisingyourownsafety.Extrememechanicalabuseto
thebatterymayresultinarupturedsealandexposure.
Theindividualcellsinthebatterypackcontainaammableliquidelectrolytethatmay
vent,igniteandproducesparkswhensubjectedtohightemperatures(>150°C/302°F),
whendamagedorabused.Aburningbatterycanigniteotherbatteriesincloseproximity.
Suitableextinguishingmediaaredrychemical,CO2,watersprayorregularfoam.Cool
downthebattery/transponderwithcopiousamountsofcoldwater.
Theinteractionwithwaterorwatervapourandexposedlithiumhexauorophosphate
(LiPF6)mayresultinthegenerationofhydrogenandhydrogenuoride(HF)gas.
Contactwithbatteryelectrolytemaybeirritatingtoskin,eyesandmucousmembranes.
Firewillproduceirritating,corrosiveand/ortoxicgases.Fumesmaycausedizzinessor
suffocation.Donaself-containedbreathingapparatus(SCBA).

Asanimmediateprecautionarymeasure,isolatethespillorleakareaatleast25metres
(75feet)inalldirections.Keepunauthorizedpersonnelaway.Stayupwind,andkeepout
oflowareas.V entilateclosedareasbeforeentering.Wearadequatepersonalprotective
equipment.
