12.4.3 Attaching Cover Sheet (Post Inserter on FD-503)
This function is provided by Folding Unit FD-503 mounted with post inserter.
Cover sheets loaded in the upper/lower tray of the post inserter will be
attached to the output copies as a front cover, back cover, or insertion
(chapter) sheets.
Use this function to create a staple-bound book with covers and title pages
attached. You can also use the Cover With Blank Sheet mode of Booklet
Pagination in combination with Paper inserter function of Insert Sheet to
make a booklet enfolded with a cover sheet.
Paper setting for the covers to be loaded in the post inserter tray is required.

Used in combination with the Perfect Binder PB-501/PB-502, cover sheets
loaded in the post inserter tray can be attached to the output copies to make
perfect-bound books. See page 4-20 for details on loading covers, and see
page 12-37 for details of perfect binding.
