RAMP [Flat, Fall, Rise, Random]
Sets the curve of RATCHET.
Flat: Produces a drum roll at the same volume.
Fall: Produces a drum roll while lowering the volume.
Rise: Produces a drum roll while raising the volume.
Random: Makes the volume of each drum roll random.
MOTION button (Setting the motion for each step)
Set the motion for each step. This unit is capable of recording all parameters for
each step. During MOTION edit, you can record the value of the target parameter
for each step by turning the kit control or parameter knobs 1 to 4 while holding
down buons 1 to 16.
Chain mode
In Chain mode, up to 16 programs can be connected and played in real time.
Use buons 1 to 16 to register the program. Playback is performed in the order of 1 to 16.
Registering a program with CHAIN
1.
Press the CHAIN buon to enter Chain mode.
2.
Press buons 1 to 16 to display the program selection screen for each buon.
Buons 1 to 16 directly correspond to CHAIN 1 to 16.
3.
Turn the parameter knob to select a program in the same way as for the regu-
lar Program Select.
4.
Press the PROGRAM SELECT buon to add the program to CHAIN.
Repeat steps 2 to 4 to add the program to CHAIN.
5.
Press the (PLAY) buon to play the programs in the order specied by
CHAIN.
