specified load destination bank. Global setting data
will not be loaded.
If you set “.PCG Contents” to Bank I-A, and set
“To” to Bank I-A, the data will be loaded as follows.
Programs
• Bank I-A file: loaded to bank I-A
Combinations
• Bank I-A file: loaded to bank I-A
Drum Kits
• 00–15 (I-A/B) file: loaded to banks I-A/B
Arpeggio Patterns
• 000–199 (I-A/B) file: loaded to banks I-A/B
If you specify different banks as the load source
and load destination, the data listed below will be
automatically reassigned so that the various types of
data will correspond correctly in each mode after
being loaded.
Even if “Load .SNG too” is checked when you load,
the data will automatically be reassigned so that the
multi data will correspond correctly.
• Program bank used by the combinations
• Pattern number of the user arpeggio pattern
used by the combinations/programs/multi
• Kit number of the drum kit used by the program
• Program bank used by each track of a multi
• If there are track/pattern events, the program
bank within the events
7 Press the [F8] (“OK”) key to execute the Load oper-
ation.
If the specified data does not exist in the file, the
load operation will be halted. (
☞PG p.125)
Never remove the media while data is being
loaded.
Contents of the included floppy disks
The TRITON-Rack comes with two floppy disks
(TNRFD-00P, TNRFD-01P).
The contents of these disks are as follows.
“TNRFD-00P”
PRELOAD.PCG (already loaded with the factory
settings)
• Programs (Bank I-A, I-B, I-C, I-D, I-E)
• Combinations (Bank I-A, I-B, I-C, I-D)
• Drum Kits (I-A/B: 16 kits)
• Arp Patterns (I-A/B: 200 patterns)
This is the preloaded data (programs, combinations,
drum kits, arpeggio patterns, and global settings).
Program bank I-E contains only I-E000–I-E004.
I-E000: Sampler Waves is a multisample program
used by the demo song. I-E001–I-E004 are programs
that use the vocoder effect (093: Vocoder).
PRELOAD.PCG can be loaded into the TRITON-
Rack by the Disk mode utility “Load Selected.” This
data is preserved even when the power is turned off.
When you load PRELOAD.PCG, any data that you
had written previously will be overwritten and
lost. If you do not want to lose your data, you must
first save it on a floppy disk etc. (☞p.40)
DEMOSONG.SNG (already loaded with the factory
settings)
• Demo songs (000...004)
This is demo song data for loading to DEMO/SNG.
It can be loaded into internal DEMO/SNG memory
by the Disk mode utility “Load to Demo Song.”
(☞p.42, PG p.132)
When you load DEMOSONG.SNG, the DEMO/
SNG and Multi data in the TRITON-Rack’s inter-
nal memory will be overwritten. If you do not
want to lose your data, you must first save it on a
floppy disk etc. (☞p.40). Since the arpeggio pat-
terns and drum kit data in memory will also be
erased, you should write this data if you do not
want to lose it.
RPPRDEMO.SNG
• FEVER
This is RPPR data for loading into a multi. It can be
loaded into a TRITON-Rack multi by the Disk mode
utility “Load Selected.” (☞p.25, PG p.128)
When you load RPPRDEMO.SNG, the Multi data
in the TRITON-Rack’s internal memory will be
overwritten. If you do not want to lose your data,
you must first save it on a floppy disk etc. (☞p.40)
“TNRFD-01P”
DCUT_SMP.KSC
DCUT_SMP-folder
This is multisample and sample data used by the
demo song “Deep Cut.” (☞p.16, 29)
When DCUT_SMP.KSC is loaded, the “Select .KSC
Allocation” setting will affect how the data is
loaded into sample memory. (
☞PG p.130)
Loading .PCG files or .SNG files from the floppy
disks included with the separately sold EXB-PCM
series options
The floppy disk included with each EXB-PCM series
option contains PCG files and SNG files that match the
bank structure of the TRITON/TRITONpro/TRITON-
proX (keyboard models of the TRITON).
(As of July 2000)
C_BANK.PCG (.SNG) and D_BANK.PCG (.SNG) have
the same content, but use different banks.
C_BANK.PCG (.SNG) is for loading into bank C of a
keyboard model TRITON, and D_BANK.PCG (.SNG)
is for loading into bank D.
When loading these EXB-PCM series files into the TRI-
TON-Rack, we recommend that you load them into
banks EXB-A–EXB-H.
As an example, here’s how to load the files of the
floppy disks included with the EXB-PCM01–04 into
banks E-A, E-B, E-C, and E-D of the TRITON-Rack as
follows.
