5.6 Adjusting the Direction of
Travel
The direction of travel of the rear running gear can be
adjusted by adjusting the suspension arm (1).
• Loosen counter-nut (2).
• Adjust suspension arm.
Shorter suspension arm
=> Adjusts the machine further to the left
Longer suspension arm
=> Adjusts the machine further to the right
• Tighten counter-nut (2).

5.7 Travel speed and drive r.p.m.
The travel speed and drive r.p.m. are determined by:
• the feed volume
• the ground conditions
• the dryness
The following should be taken as starting points:
• PTO shaft speed approx. 450 r.p.m.
• Forward speed approx. 8- 10 km/h
Drive r.p.m. and forward speed should be adapted to the
particular conditions each time.
