Danger! The swath former does not provide protection against accidents.
Effect: Danger to life, injuries by being pulled in.
• PTO shaft drive and tractor engine OFF.
• Activate the tractor parking brake and remove the ignition key.
• Wait until all machine parts have come to a complete stop.
• Adjust the swath former only before starting work and make certain that the end of the
swath former does not rotate forward past the middle of the rotor.

8.7.1 Adjusting the swath former lengthwise
Adjusting the swath former lengthwise. This adjustment is required for example if forage falls out
at the front of the swath former.
Move the swath former with the double-action control unit until no more forage is falling out.

8.7.2 Height adjustment of the swath former
The adjustment is required if forage falls under the swath former, for example, and is not
evened out by the working depth adjustment.
To do this:
• Unscrew the linch pins (2).
• Remove the swath former from its support.
• Reinstall the sleeves (6).
• Insert the swath former into the support and secure it with the linch pin (2).
