Warning
Danger of accidentsOil or grease on the brake discs
reduces the braking effect.
Always keep the brake discs free of oil and grease.
Clean the brake discs with brake cleaner when nec-
essary.
Clean and oil the dust boots and inner fork tubes of both fork
legs.
Universal oil spray ( p. 139)
Press the dust boots back into their installation position.
Remove excess oil.
Finishing work
Take the motorcycle off the front lifting gear. ( p. 70)
Remove the rear of the motorcycle from the lifting gear.

13.6 Removing the passenger seat

Insert the ignition key in seat lock

and turn it clockwise.
Raise the rear of the passenger seat cover, push it toward the
rear, and remove it upward.
Remove the ignition key from the seat lock.

The vehicle has been set up in the factory for one-
person operation. Only an authorized KTM workshop
may carry out the conversion.
The components for one-person operation and for oper-
ation with a passenger are included in the scope of
supply.
Always ensure that the legal requirements are observed,
e.g., entry in the vehicle documents if applicable.
