Remove the rear left upper cover [A] in the direction of the arrow. (Screw x6)

(Display: Begin) Select [Ink Drain]/[Execute] in U740 Set UP and press [Start] key.

Display [Step] and [Execute].

(Display: Auto 0400) Start the ink drain mode for the sub tank.
• Select [Execute] and press [Start] to run job.

(Display: Manu 0401) Disconnect all couplings on the supply side (White band: Y, K,
C, M, CL) and the circulation side (Black band) in ink supply unit.
• Using alpha wipe to get rid of remaining ink by knocking coupling and wrap with paraffin tape.
(Upper and lower 20 couplings.)
• Select [Execute] after completing the steps, then press [Start] key to continue.
Any modes are prohibit in U740 Set Up, so that power off does not allow to exit from this mode unless complete
all routine.
1 Follow the work flow by checking number on display [Auto xxx (Run automatically)] or [Manu xxx (Manual
procedure)].
2 Select [Execute] after completing the steps, then press [Start] key to continue. (Change the number with
Auto or Manu to the next.)
3 If [Undo] comes up with incomplete, check previous procedure.
