3 Product Description
3.2 Life Cycle
The device is designed to have a service life of Gerät 10 years or 250,000 cycles. The obser-
vations about likelihood of failure are based on these values.
The actual service life of the Gerät depends on the ambient temperature among other factors.
In particular, operation at high temperatures reduces the actual service life.
The design service life applies for a use of the device in accordance with the specifications of
the documentation. The device must be replaced by authorised personnel when the service
life with regard to the number of burner cycles or the corresponding usage time has been
reached.
Please observe the specified duration of service for the flame sensor. These can be found in
the specifications of the respective manufacturer.
