19.6.3 Connecting the thermostat to the PC
If an ECO thermostat is connected via the USB interface, it is automatically assigned to a free COM port. The PC
unambiguously identifies the thermostat via a serial number internal to the thermostat and always assigns the same
COM port to this thermostat.
If further ECO thermostats are connected via the USB interface, these thermostats are assigned other free COM
ports.
1. Plug the USB cable into the control head.
2. Switch on the thermostat at the mains switch.
