A CUTTER BAR
ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY
The cutter bar is built up of independent units (1). These
mower elements are kept apart by intermediate spacers (2).
The units and spacers are kept together by a connecting
rod (3).
The cutting units are driven from the drive element (4) by a
drive shaft (5).
Thanks to the modular design, mower elements can be
replaced quickly, as can the drive shaft. If so required, the
sequence of elements with LH and RH rotation can be
changed in the SPLENDIMO MC mower/ conditioner with
“S” model mower discs.
Dismount the cutter bar as follows.
- Mount the machine in the tractor ’s three point hitch.
- Place the machine on a level floor.
- Remove the securing plate (6).
- Untighten the nut M30 (7) by a few turns.
- Remove the nut (7) and the ring (8).
- Remove the end plate (9) as well as the swathboard.
