D. KEY PAD COMMUNICATION LOSS:
The Auto Glide Key Pad is a CANBUS based device that communicates with the Auto Glide Control Box via
NMEA 2000 protocol. The Key Pad is in constant communication with the Control Box as it sends and receives
boat control messages.
If the Key Pad fails to communicate with the Control Box, the Auto Glide will stop all automatic boat control
decisions and retract the trim tabs in short bursts. The Key Pad will also go blank and none of the Key Pad
buttons will respond.
