Installingorremovingtheopticalmodule
Theopticalmoduleenablesyoutoconnecttwonetworkdeviceswithopticalfibercables.Theoptical
moduleisneededonlyonsomePCIecards.

Toinstalltheopticalmodule,dothefollowing:
1.LocatethetwoholesattherearofthePCIecardforinstallingtheopticalmodule.
2.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainstheopticalmoduletoanyunpaintedsurfaceonthe
outsideoftheserver.Then,taketheopticalmoduleoutofthepackage.
3.Withtheopticalmodulehandleintheopenposition,inserttheopticalmoduleintooneofthetwo
holesinthePCIecard.
