1.CopytheEthernetcarddriverfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoyourlocaldrive.Double-click
theEXEletounzipittoafolder.CopythefoldertoyourUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSB
storagedevicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromyourUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
3.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver.
cd/tmp
tarzxvfixgbe-x.x.x.x.tar.gz
cdigb-x.x.x.x/src
makeinstall
Note:Theigb-x.x.x.xrepresentsthenameofthedriverle.Usethecorrespondinglenameon
yourserver.
4.RestartyourserverandclickComputeronthelowerleftcorner.
5.ClickYaST.
6.OntheYaSTControlCenterwindow,clickNetworkDevices➙NetworkSettings.
7.ChooseanEthernetcardasyouneedandclickEdit.
8.OntheNetworkCardSetupwindow,selectStaticallyassignedIPAddressandcongurethesettings
asyouneed.Then,clickNext.
9.ConguretheotherEthernetcardsifneeded.ClickOKtocompletetheEthernetcardconguration.
