If the GS connecon is interrupted or in case of a short circuit/short circuit of GS
to SIA/SIB, STO is acve.
Acceptance
The machine manufacturer must check and prove the operability of the safety funcons used.

The machine manufacturer must authorise a person with experse and knowledge of the
safety funcons to carry out the test.
•
The test result of every safety funcon must be documented and signed by the inspector.
A complete test comprises the following:

Describing the safety equipment.

Documenng the safety funcons used.

Checking the funcon of the safety funcons used.

The tester must repeat the test aer each change and record the results in the
test report.
