12.4 Checklists
The inspection before first startup determines the safety-related flawless integration of the
active opto-electronic protective device (AOPD) into the machine and its control system.
The results of the inspection must be recorded in writing and kept with the machine
documents. They can then be used as a reference during subsequent regular inspections.
