9.2.2 Conference Room
You can create a Conference Room that others, internal and external can call to join a conference. An
alternative procedure to creating and joining a Conference Room is provided in “5.4.1 Setting up a Conference
Room”.
To configure a Conference Room:
1) Press the MENU button and select the Conference Room sub-menu.
2) The following menu displays.
1. CREATE CONF ROOM
2. DELETE CONF ROOM
3) Press the Navigation or Volume up/down keys to highlight the desired option then press the OK
button or Softkey or dial the option number.
4) Enter the room number (1-9) and dial a 5-digit password that will be required to enter the room.
5) Press the OK button or Softkey.
9.2.3 ICM SMS
You can send and receive short text messages, SMS messages, to and from other stations. For additional
details and an alternative approach, refer to “6.3 Sending and Receiving Short Text Messages”.
To send an SMS message:
1) Press the MENU button and select the ICM SMS sub-menu.
2) The following menu displays.
1. SEND MESSAGE
2. IN BOX (03)
3) Use the Navigation or Volume up/down keys to highlight “SEND MESSAGE” then press the OK
button or Softkey. You may dial the digit 1 to select the “SEND MESSAGE” item.
4) Dial 1 if resending, or 2 to send a new message (edit).
5) Enter the Station number or range to receive the message.
6) Write your message, for details refer to “1.10.1 Phone Entering Text”.
7) Press the OK button or Softkey to send the message.
To retrieve a SMS message:
1) Press the MENU button and select the ICM SMS sub-menu.
2) The following menu displays.
1. SEND MESSAGE
2. IN BOX (03)
3) Use the Navigation or Volume up/down keys to highlight “IN BOX” then press the OK button or
Softkey You may dial ‘2’ to select the “IN BOX” item.
4) The display shows a line for each message. Highlight the desired message and press the OK
button or Softkey to read the entire message.
