Foundation for Installation
Indoor Unit
- Fix the unit tightly with bolts as shown below so that the unit will not fall down due to
earthquake.
- Noise and vibration may occur from the floor or wall since vibration is transferred through the
installation part depending on installation status. Thus, use anti-vibration materials (cushion pad)
fully (The base pad shall be more than 200 mm.
Outdoor Unit
- Check the strength and level of the installation ground so that the unit will not cause any
operating vibration or noise after installation.
- Fix the unit securely by means of the foundation bolts. (Prepare 4sets of M12 foundation bolts,
nuts and washers each which are available on the market.)
- It is best to screw in the foundation bolts until their length are 20mm from the foundation
surface.
