  If the battery indicator is illuminated on your Liebert UPS, it means the unit is running on battery power. This can happen for a few reasons: * The UPS might not be securely plugged into the wall. Make sure it's properly connected. * The UPS input protection fuse may have blown. If this is the case, save your work, close any open applications, replace the fuse, and restart the UPS. * The mains power might be out of the acceptable range. Save your data and close applications, then verify that the mains supply voltage is within the correct limits for the UPS.

  Reduced battery backup time on your Liebert UPS can stem from several causes: * The batteries may not be fully charged. To resolve this, keep the UPS plugged in continuously for at least 24 hours to allow the batteries to recharge. * The UPS might be overloaded. Check the load level indicator and reduce the load on the UPS if necessary. * The batteries may be old and unable to hold a full charge. If this is the case, replace the batteries. Contact your local dealer, Emerson representative, or Emerson Channel Support for a replacement battery kit.

  A flashing battery indicator on your Liebert UPS indicates that the battery source is unavailable and may be accompanied by a continuous horn. Check the battery connections, then completely power down and restart the UPS. Note that if the battery circuit opens while the UPS is running, it will be detected during the next battery test.

Why is the bypass indicator flashing on my Liebert GXT4?

The AC input powers the PFC input and serves as the bypass source. If the AC is present but the voltage or frequency exceeds the acceptable range for safe operation with a load, the bypass will be disabled, and this indicator will flash, indicating that the bypass is unavailable.
