Users
User Levels
ApexZ supports up to 50 users and 3 different User Groups: Operators, Power Users and Administrators.
ApexZ can operate with Users Enabled or Disabled. With Users Enabled, an Administrator Level User
must be created and maintained. Administrator level user accounts control valid and invalid operator
and power users and their access to the ApexZ instrument operation and configuration.
Operator Group:
Operators can operate the ApexZ instrument but
have no access to change configurations.
Operators can start and stop samples.
Operators can change locations.
Operators can start and stop recipes.
Operators cannot access configuration.
Operators cannot create new users.
Power User Group
Power Users can do all that Operators can do.
Power Users can view and edit configuration.
Power Users cannot create new users.
Administrator Group
Administrators can do what Power Users can do.
Administrators can create new users.
