Inspection and maintenance every 500 to 1000 operating hours or once a year

¾ Check operating and steering hydraulics for
leakage
¾ Check drive axle side stops and adjust or
replace as necessary
¾ Check condition of anti-stati
c belt
¾ Check braking system
¾ Check fastening of tilt cylinders.
¾ Check fastening of drive axle and
tighten as
necessary
¾ Check battery door locking and adjust
¾ Clean turntable axle
¾ Clean combi-steer axle and grease
¾ Check electrical system (lights, windscreen
wipers, horn, heating)
¾ Check the condition and secure positioning
of electric cables, cable connectors and
connections
¾ Adjust potentiometer for drive con
trol
pedals
¾ Read out error memory and delete, reset
service interval
¾ Hydraulic system: Check oil level
¾ Check bellows on joystick
¾ Check fork arms and arm safety devices
¾ Lift mast chain, lift cylinders and end stops:
Check condition, secure fastening and
function
¾ Check fastening of lift mast to
axle and
tighten as necessary
¾ Adjust length of lift mast chain and apply
chain spray
¾ Adjust joysticks
¾ Check function of fan for cooling
¾ Check pedals and oil as necessary
¾ Wheel gear: check for leaks
¾ Wheel gear oil change, subsequent
oil
changes every 3000 operating hour

¾ Sideshift: Clean and grease, check fasten-
ing
¾ Clean board contactor (compressed air)
¾ Check other bearings and joints and
oil
(driver’s seat guide, poss. windsc
reen
wiper bearing, door locks etc.)
¾ Check pretension of double hoses with
attachment of additional equipment as well
as smooth running of hose carriage
¾ Affix servicing sticker

in the battery slipping or even falling out of the truck
frame.
