Wheel gear oil change (with wheels
attached)
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
Take note of information about working mate-
rials.
¾ Warm up wheel gear.
NOTE
The oil change can be carried out in different
steps.

¾ Drive the forklift truck with
the drive axle
just over the pit until the ch
ecking screw (1)
is at the " 5 o’clock" positio
n and the filling
screw (2) is at the top.
¾ Clean the area around around the check-
ing screw (1,) filling screw (2) and drain
plug (3) .
¾ Unscrew the checking and filling screws.
¾ Place a collection vessel und
er the drain
plug (3) .
¾ Unscrew the drain plug (3) and allow all the
transmission oil to drain off.
¾ Clean the magnetic plug of the drain plug
(3).
¾ Screw the drain plug (3) secur
ely back in.
Tightening torque 20 Nm.
¾ Add approx. 250 cm

oil per wheel gear to
the filling screw hole until oil escapes from
the screwhole of the checking screw (1) .
¾ Screw the screws (1 and 2) securel
y back
in.
Tightening torque 20 Nm
¾ Repeat the transmission oil change on the
second wheel gear.
