9.7 Backup Battery
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
The batteries may be only replaced by the appropriate service personnel!
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
The battery is intended solely for emergency power supply during power failures.
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
In case that the insufficiently trained personnel will perform the replacement of
battery, the danger situation may occur or the functionality of medical device
may be reduced.
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
Backup battery discharge is indicated by sound signal (1 s) after depressing
any movement button. In this case, connect the bed to the mains immediately
and charge the battery. The bed should not be used, when the battery has been
completely discharged
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
When the back-up battery is completely discharged, the recharging to the
minimum level (allowing the use of this back-up battery again) will take at least
one hour time If you require the full charging of the battery, the necessary time
for charging will take at least 24 hours!
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
The fully charged back-up battery will last in the stand-by mode for approxi-
mately 1 to 2 months (at the optimum temperature of 15 to 25°C). The allowed
maximum temperature for the battery is 50°C!
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
The fully charged battery provides for the necessary functionality of the birthing
bed (i.e. positioning of lift, tilting of the supporting systems, calling the nurse,
and Trendelenburg), namely with minimum of four cycles, so that it will be
possible to set the birthing bed into the basic safe position
DANGEROUS ELECTRIC VOLTAGE!
In case that the power supply of the bed will be interrupted, the "Call nurse"
function will be usable for the time period of 1 to 2 months (provided that the
positioning of the bed is not used!).
