11.3.1 Recommended manual cleaning and disinfection of the top cover
WARNING!
Risk of infection from the inside of the mattress!
► Check the top of the mattress cover for any signs of damage. If the top cover is
damaged, do not use the mattress and contact the service department
► Check the inside of the top of the mattress cover for signs of liquid ingress. If there
is moisture on the inside, replace or clean and completely disinfect the top of the
cover
To maintain the life of the mattress, we recommend following these cleaning and disinfection
steps. These instructions are also given on the mattress print:
Step 1. Clean the top and bottom of the mattress with
a soft cloth with a solution of universal neutral cleaning
detergent.
Step 2. Allow the mattress to dry or wipe it dry with a soft
cloth
Step 3. Disinfect the mattress with sodium hypochlorite
solution or recommended disinfection listed in chapter
"11.3.3 Recommended chemical concentrations for
disinfection the top cover".
Step 4. Rinse with water
Step 5. Allow the mattress to dry or wipe it dry with a soft
cloth
