4. Wait two minutes, then power on your cable or DSL modem by
plugging its power adapter into an electrical outlet.
5. Wait two minutes, then power on the router by plugging its power
adapter into an electrical outlet.
6. Wait five minutes, then power on the Phone Adapter by plugging its
power adapter into an electrical outlet.
7. Reboot one of your networked computers, and check to see if you
have an active Internet connection.
5. I can’t send or receive faxes
If you are having problems with faxing, you may need to refer to your fax
machine owner’s manual and adjust the configuration on your fax
machine. For best performance with AccessLine Home Office Phone
Service:
If your fax machine has an “ECM” (“Error Correction Mode) feature,
please disable this function,
Check your fax machine’s speed (sometimes called “Baud Rate”), and set
it to 9600 or lowest possible speed.
