5.4. Parking brake
Risk of being crushed by an unsecured machine
Injuries due to the machine unintentionally changing position.
Always secure the floor saw with the parking brake when the machine is not in use.
Procedure
• The parking brake is activated and released using your foot
5.5. Establish water supply
Insufficient cooling water may destroy the blade
If the wet cutting saw blade is not supplied with sufficient cooling water, parts may break off and there is a
risk of overheating. The grinding dust will not be properly bound.
Always ensure the saw blade is cooled
Wear personal protection equipment
• Connect a water supply with max. 5 bar to the GEKA coupling.
• Only use clean water to prevent the spray nozzles from
clogging.
• Use the hand lever to regulate the water supply and water
quantity during operation.
5.6. Setting the handles
• Set the handles to the desired height and alignment for the
operator.
