7.5. Troubleshooting
The motor must be switched off before maintenance or repair work.
Secure the machine against being unintentionally switched back on.
Maintenance and service work may only be carried out by qualified technical personnel.
NOTICE
The following points must be checked first in the event of cutting problems:
Is the saw blade blunt or defective?
Is there too little water to cool the saw blade?
Has the correct saw blade been selected?
Full power or speed from the motor?
Error Possible cause Remedy
Poor cutting performance Saw blade is blunt Replace the saw blade
too little cooling water Flush the water supply with pressure
max. 5 bar
V-belts slip Check v-belts, retighten
The motor does not provide the full performance Check electrical supply
The floor saw does not start No power Check electrical supply
Fuse/RCD tripped Check fuse/RCD
Feed lever in the incorrect position Put the feed lever in the center position
Excessive vibrations
Tool blunt Replace tool
Motor bearing is imbalanced/incorrectly
calibrated
Check motor position
