CHAPTER 5: PNEUMATICS 5-5
ALPHA 538/552
3.3. Description of the elements
(16) Air pressure switch
To guarantee an optimal work of the bar feeder, the service
pressure must be at least 5 bar (75 Psi).
The pressure switch serves to confirm that pressure is present and
adequate.
The air pressure switch is connected to the valve battery.
Settings
1. Set the base pressure on screw A.
2. Set the difference range on screw B.
(17) Valves
Contact your LNS agent for further safety information before proceeding to any operation
on the valves.
By pressing the button A, the cylinders can be
activated manually. This button can be kept at
the activation position by pressing it down and
turning 90° clockwise. This position can be
released by turning it 90° counter clockwise.
This maneuver may prove to be useful during
tests or maintenance. When the button is
released, the pneumatic cylinder returns to its
resting position (except for pneumatic cylinders
activated by double-effect solenoid valve YV2).
