5-16. Peak Search
This automatically places a marker on the highest amplitude signal of the trace and displays the
marker’s amplitude and frequency. If there is no peak, the marker will not move. If there is no
marker indicated, marker 1 will appear.
Next Peak
This detects the second highest peak next to the current marker label, and moves it
to that place.
PEAK SEARCH >> Next Peak
Next PK Right
This moves the marker to the next highest peak to the right of the current marker.
In order to be recognized as a signal peak, a peak must attain at least the value of
Excursion (default 6 dB). If there is no peak on the right, the marker will not move.
PEAK SEARCH >> Next PK Right
Next PK Left
This moves the marker to the next highest peak to the left of the current marker. In
order to be recognized as a signal peak, a peak must attain at least the value of
Excursion (default 6 dB). If there is no peak on the left, the marker will not move.
PEAK SEARCH >> Next PK Left
Min Search
This moves a marker on the current trace to the minimal level.
PEAK SEARCH >> Min Search
PK-PK Search
This finds out and indicates the difference in frequencies between the highest
tracer point and the lowest tracer point (or when the span is 0), and the amplitude.
