FLUID LEVELS
WARNING
It is recommende d that the as sis-
tance of an authorized Lynx dealer
be periodically obtained on other
components/systems not covered
in this guide. Unl ess otherwise
specified, engine must be cold
and not running. The tether cord
cap must be removed for all m ain-
tenance procedures.
CAUTION: Vehiclemustbeonalev-
el surface before c hecking any fluid
levels.
Brake system
Check brake fluid in reservoir for prop-
er level. Add fluid a s required.
CAUTION: Use only DOT 4 brake
fluid from a sealed container.
BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR
1. Minimum
Gear box models: To check, pull dip-
stick. Oil should reach level mark.
NOTE: Before in itial start-up, the oil
level may be higher than the full mark.
After first outing, oil lev el will decreas e
as the upper oil cavity fills with oil.
NOTE: Use only recommended types
of oil when servicing. Do not mix this
synthetic oil with other type s of oil.
