7.9.3.2 Conditioner Gearbox Installation – 13

Stop engine and remove key from ignition
before leaving operator's seat for any
reason. A child or even a pet could engage
an idling machine.
a. Position conditioner gearbox (R) in drive
compartment and secure with eight bolts (S).
Torque to 92 ft·lbf (125 N·m).
b. Ensure woodruff key is in shaft keyway and slide
yoke (Q) onto gearbox shaft. Tighten bolt (P) on
U-joint.
c. Slide upper driveshaft (O) with pulley (L) and
belt into yoke (T). Attach timing flange to
gearbox with bolts (N), washers, and
lockwashers. Do not tighten.
d. Position pulley (L) on gearbox and install four
bolts (M) with lockwashers.
e. Tighten bolts (M) to 75 ft·lbf (102 N·m).
