BATTERY
Removing the primary battery
Warning: Make sure to have a firm grip of the battery handle
before attempting to remove or refit the battery to the
motorcycle. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.
Caution: Make sure to have a firm grip of the battery handle
before removing the battery from the motorcycle. Failure to
do so may result in damage to the battery and/or motorcycle.
1. Open the primary battery storage compartment. For further
information, see Accessing the primary battery on page 28.
2. Using the carry handle, carefully remove the battery (1).
3. Close the primary battery storage compartment (2).
