8 Y_Encoder no change
• No signal response from the Encoder.
• Encoder cap is aging and can't read the encoder disc anymore.
(always caused by encoder malfunction)
1. Check PLC X00 terminal – make sure the cable (CBL-0031) is not loose.
2. Clean encoder disc.
3. Check encoder cap. Open it and see if the red LED inside is on. If the light is off Encoder needs to be
replaced.
4. Replace PCB.
9 Y_Position Over Pulse
• The position coordinate greatly differs from the Encoder coordinate.
1. Check PLC X00 terminal – make sure the cable (CBL-0031) is not loose.
2. Check motor cables – if connections are loose or cables are damaged motor will lose power and
trigger an error.
3. Clean encoder disc.
4. Check Y axis calibration.
10 Y_Home Sensor Fail
• No response from Y-Home sensor
1. Check PLC X00 terminal – make sure the cable (CBL-0031) is not loose.
2. Check motor connection to power, PCB and PLC.
3. Check encoder cable (Y ECD).
4. Check home sensor cable S002.
5. Check if the sensor works properly.
6. Check if motherboard is functioning properly.
11 V_SoftLimt+
• Encoder pulse count exceeds the value set by the software; the distance from the motor moving
forward does not match the distance from encoder.
1. Restart the instrument.
2. Clean encoder disc.
12 V_SoftLimt-
• Encoder pulse count exceeds the value set by the software; the distance from the motor moving
backwards does not match the distance from encoder.
• Encoder cap is aging and can't read the encoder disc anymore.
1. Restart the instrument.
2. Clean encoder disc.
3. Check encoder signal (CBL-M006) and power (CBL-M005) cables.
4. Check encoder cap. Open it and see if the red LED inside is on. If it is. Encoder needs to be replaced.
5. Replace PCB.
