Error Alarm Codes
4 DC M Motor Up Time Out
• DC M Motor or DOWN Sensor do not function properly.
1. Run M-axis test to see if the axis moves properly, if not check if the DOWN sensor is functioning
properly and is connected well.
2. Check if the power cable is connected properly and motor is receiving the power.
3. Check block plate position of the DOWN sensor.
4. Check connection between PCB and PLC CBL_0031, check X7 on PLC.
5. Check motor connection to PCB (DC MOTOR).
6. Check motor connection to PLC (CBL_0034, Y10 - orange).
7. Check if there is any obstruction preventing M-axis from moving Up.
5 DC M Motor Down Time Out
• DC M Motor or Up Sensor do not function properly.
1. Run M-axis test to see if the axis moves properly, if not check if the UP sensor is functioning properly
and is connected well.
2. Check if the power cable is connected properly and motor is receiving the power.
3. Check block plate position of the UP sensor.
4. Check connection between PCB and PLC CBL_0032, check X13 on PLC.
5. Check motor connection to PCB (DC MOTOR).
6. Check motor connection to PLC (CBL_0034, Y10 - orange).
7. Check if there is any obstruction preventing M-axis from moving Down.
6 Y_SoftLimt+
• Encoder pulse count exceeds the value set by the software; the distance from the motor moving
forward does not match the distance from encoder.
• Machine did not initialize.
1. Switch the machine off first. Turn it on and let it bring all the axis's to their initial position. Machine
initialized when it stops moving, making noise and main menu shows up on the screen.
2. Restart the instrument.
3. Clean encoder disc.
7 Y_SoftLimt-
• Encoder pulse count exceeds the value set by the software; the distance from the motor moving
backward does not match the distance from encoder.
• Encoder cap is aging and can't read the encoder disc anymore.
1. Restart the instrument.
2. Clean encoder disc.
3. Check encoder signal (Y ECD) and Power (Y) cables.
4. Check encoder cap. Open it and see if the red LED inside is on. If the light is off Encoder needs to be
replaced.
5. Replace PCB.
