QUIETQUBE® MODELS
NOTE: The power button must be depressed and the
water curtain/ice dampers must be in place on the
evaporator before the ice machine will start.
INITIAL START-UP OR START-UP AFTER
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
1. Water Purge
Before the compressor starts, the water pump and
water dump solenoid are energized to purge the ice
machine of old water. This feature ensures that the ice
making cycle starts with fresh water.
2. Refrigeration System Start-Up
Ice Machine Head Section:
The harvest valve(s) air pump(s) and liquid line
solenoid valve energizes to equalize high and low side
refrigeration pressure.
After 10 seconds the harvest valve(s) and air pump(s)
de-energize.
ICVD Condensing Unit:
The low pressure switch closes and sends 24 volts to
the control board. The control board completes the
circuit and sends 24 volts to the contactor coil and
energizes the compressor.
