• Large sheet of ice on evaporator
• Harvest cycle doesn’t start
• Freeze cycles are slower than published cycle
times
ICE MACHINE CYCLES INTO HARVEST BEFORE
ICE CONTACTS THE ICE THICKNESS PROBE
1. Reboot the control board by disconnecting and
reconnecting line voltage to the ice machine.
2. Verify ice thickness probe gap is approximately
9/32” (7 mm).
3. Wait six minutes:
• Ice Machine remains in freeze cycle - Allow ice
machine to run.
• Ice machine cycles into harvest - Replace ice
thickness probe to determine if problem is
resolved. If problem persists replace the control
board.
