9.6_ADJUSTING THE TYING DEVICES
CAUTION! Before performing any adjustment and/or maintenance operations
on the tying device (twine binder/net wrapper):
Stop the tractor, remove the keys from the dashboard and wait for all the
moving parts of the machine to stop completely
Always switch off the control system.
CAUTION!
Be extremely careful of the knife of the tying device when
working in its vicinity.
Before working in the area of the tying devices, place the
safety lock (stop) to avoid crushing or amputation of the
hands.
9.6.1_ADJUSTING THE TWINE BINDER
The distance of the binder from the edge of the bale
is regulated by two locks (stops) located at the
external sides of the binder.
The tying of the bale can be more or less tight and is adjusted by a pulley of variable diameter:
To obtain tight binding turn the handle "M" in the anticlockwise direction, in this case the belt will
position itself on the smaller diameter.
To obtain looser binding turn the handle "M" in the clockwise direction, in this case the belt will
position itself on the larger diameter.

It is possible however to use all the intermediate positions as needed.
CAUTION!
Do not start working without the guards in place.
