In this way the heat pump will stop at the set point and the thermal jump, according to the set oset, will be borne by the boiler and/or the
integraon resistors.

In units with KA accessory, this funcon is acve from the factory conguraon. The kit consists of an anfreeze heater posioned on the ex-
changer on the system side and a heang cable placed on the base of the unit. The installer can modify the operaon of the anfreeze resistors
by accessing the relave parameter menu:
PRG -> PSS -> PRG -> (enter installer password) -> PRG -> PAr -> PRG -> Fro
In heang mode, the water anfreeze heater is acvated when the ow water temperature falls below r02 (default r02 = 4,0°C), it is switched
o when the temperature measured by the outlet water probe exceeds  °C.
If the unit is in OFF or cooling mode, the water anfreeze heater is acvated when the ow water temperature falls below r03 (default r03 =
4,0°C), it switches o when the temperature measured by the outlet water probe exceeds  °C.
The crankcase heater, on the other hand, switches on when the outside air temperature falls below 3°C and switches o when the outside tem-
perature exceeds 5°C.

This opon allows to produce free hot water through paral heat recovery by desuperheang the gas from the compressor outlet. Units with
DS accessory are equipped with a control expansion board, which allows the connecon of a water temperature probe for DS to acvate the call
for recovery.
To enable operaon, the following parameters must be set and the DS water temperature probe must be connected to terminal XC-121.1/12.2:
Parameter VALUE TERMINAL 
rE01 1 DS enabled in chiller mode
H17 6 XC-121.1/12.2 DS water temperature sensor
Recovery is enabled for operaon if all the following condions are met:
Compressor in operaon
Defrosng is not in progress and is not counng to enter defrost mode.
There are no safety controls or restricons acve
The recovery call is acvated if the temperature detected by the probe falls below the setpoint °C and is deacvated when the tem-
perature exceeds the setpoint San.
For more informaon see the technical bullen of the unit.

If the System Management kit (oponal) is present, a second control is located inside the electrical panel that acts as an I/O resource expansion
module. With this second control it is possible to increase the number of logics that can be managed by the main control; in parcular, these
logics are used for system management and are listed below:
Parameter VALUE 
H86 9 Compressor operaon signalling
H87 24 Alarm signalling
H88 47 Machine block signalling
H89 31 *Plant season signalling
H90 21 *Defrosng in progress signalling
