1. Place the sterndrive unit in the full down/in position.
2. Check the fluid level in the trim pump reservoir. The level
should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" level marks on the
reservoir.
3. If necessary, remove the fill cap and add Power Trim and
Steering Fluid until the level in the reservoir reaches the
"MIN" level mark. It is acceptable to fill the reservoir beyond
the "MIN" level mark, but do not overfill past the "MAX" level
mark.

4. Raise the sterndrive unit two or three times to bleed air out of
the system. The fluid level may drop. Add more Power Trim
and Steering Fluid if necessary, but do not overfill past the
"MAX" level mark.
5. Replace the fill cap.
