2. Remove the ten screws securing the top cover, and remove the top cover from the engine.
3. Remove the pressure cap from the coolant tank.

4. Locate the engine coolant drain plug on the port side of the engine.

5. Place a large capacity drain pan below the engine coolant drain plug.
6. Remove the drain plug and allow the fluid to drain into the drain pan.
7. Remove any spilled engine coolant with a shop towel and dispose the towel according to local laws.
8. After the system has drained, install the plug and tighten to the specified torque.

9. Fill the engine closed cooling system with the specified engine coolant.
